Hi.
Decided to open this thread to see if anyone one else is in the same boat as me,
I’m 36, been TTC for 21 cycles. THINK but not 100% sure I had a chemical pregnancy this month.
Anyway - just want to know is anyone else in the same boat as me? Any advice/tips/tricks of you’se have got ur BFP or should I go see GP?
Thanks x

Hi, how short are your cycles? Mine are between 24-26 days. I tend to ovulate between cd11-13. I'm 35 and been trying fir 14 cycles and saw the GP in November. Have started tests and had a scan which showed a possible tube issue. Waiting to see my GP to discuss.

I'd book in to see your GP to get the ball rolling.

My cycles are 20-24 days. Yeah maybe I will book in and get the ball rolling 🤞

Mine are 23 days. I conceived first month last pregnancy (though ended in TFMR) How are you doing?

Broodyaf · 19/06/2019 14:24

Hi @Treaclepie19

GP referred me to fertility clinic in March. Won't be called until Octoberish
Done CD21 bloods which suggest I'm not ovulating, though they were a few days out, so repeating them next cycle.
DF having SA 29th July.
It's a slow process over here in Northern Ireland!

Ow long have you been TTC? What # is this?
So stressful isn't it?

@Broodyaf I'm glad your gp is investigating. I hope they're able to offer some support.

This is our first month trying after losing our little boy december. Also had a miscarriage in 2014 and a 3 year old in 2015.

Broodyaf · 19/06/2019 14:35

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your wee boy 😰
How many weeks were you?
I hope you have a positive experience this time round xx

@Broodyaf thanks lovely. I was 22+4, he was very poorly :(

Hoping it's an easy journey but I'm not expecting it if I'm honest.

Fingers crossed things get moving quickly for you!

Broodyaf · 19/06/2019 14:45

Ah that's so sad. U & ur DP are very strong to come through it together.

I don't expect any BFPs this side of Christmas and I'm starting to panic. As I'm 37!
I've looked into going private but there's only a couple of months in it, so for the cost of it I don't see much benefit, esp as if I'll need treatment/medication it will cost a fortune

Thank you, it has been tough.

It's ridiculous isn't it, such a shame it all takes so long. I hope you end up with a little miracle that surprises you.

Broodyaf · 19/06/2019 15:00

Thank you!
All the love, luck and babydust bein sent your way

Thanks for asking @Broodyaf. Not brilliant. I had a missed miscarriage in April, was just over 9 weeks but baby was only 5 weeks. Luckily our fertility clinic kept us on as we're 18 months in now. Had my hsg 3 weeks ago (very painful) and just on my period since that, 22 days after my last one 🙄 suppose it means more opportunities to try but a regular reminder too.

I've got a hysteroscopy in August then a follow up with the consultant in September. Fingers crossed for your next cycle with your bloods.

I'm sorry for your loss @Treaclepie19 Flowers

Treaclepie19 · 19/06/2019 16:25

@VenusStarr thank you ❤ and I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage :(
Sounds like you're really going through it.

Broodyaf · 19/06/2019 16:25

I'm sorry for your loss @VenusStarr
I hope you have been kind to yourself.
Had you been to fertility clinic before you conceived and did they give you anything or diagnose anything?

Thank you @Treaclepie19 and @Broodyaf. We'd been referred in January after all the bloods and sperm analysis results came back. Concieved in February but it was clear mid March things weren't progressing well. The clinic appointment was sent through for May, got the letter after our first bad scan) I saw a gynecologist after the miscarriage as I have lots fibroids that epu were worried had caused the miscarriage but she said they didn't and to continue with the fertility clinic appointment. I was worried they'd discharge us to keep trying for another year (am 35, dh is 37) so was happy they kept us on and are trying to find out a bit more. Dh is hopeful that although it took a while we did do it in the end, I'm not so much. Really struggling after the miscarriage to feel any hope. Glad I have these tests so feels like something can help us 🤞 it's hard though.
