6 weeks 3 days no hb

Had a scan following fet (5day blast) saw a fetal pole . She said that either late implanter or failing to progress pregnancy. Have to go back on 11th for another scan . Is she trying to pacify me with the late implanter or is it possible ? She said what the scan showed would be what she would expect to see at 5 and half weeks ?

I don’t want to get your hopes up, you know yourself this could go either way. But I got my confirmation scan following a +be test after FET (3rd go) brought forward due to bleeding. I was 6 w+2. But before she scanned me, the nurse reiterated over and over again that it could be too early to see anything let alone a HB. I was very fortunate to see a little flicker beating away. So I don’t think the nurse is trying to placate you, I do think it could go either way. I have everything crossed for you

Sorry you’re going through this and having to wait what I can only imagine to a tortuous wait. I don’t think they are trying to pacify you, what they have said is pretty spot on, the truth is that no one knows when that heart starts to beat so it’s fully reasonable to say what they have, wishing you all the best at your scan x
