I have been trying to conceive for around 7 months now and nothing seems to be happening
I am 41, I already have a daughter of 4 but wanted another child. I already do the ovulating calendar etc but still nothing
I know its harder as you get older to conceive - I was pregnant a year ago but miscarried at 7 weeks -
I was wondering of have some fertility testing - what exactly do they do? was thinking private as would be quicker than NHS? as time isn't really on my side
any advise would be appreciated as getting my period every month is making me so unhappy - thank you x

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I've just started tests via my GP. Cd1-5 and cd21 blood tests - he just gave me the forms and I went on the right day. Saw GP at the end of november and had both sets done by the third week of December. Was referred for a transvaginal scan which showed up some issues. Will need to be reffered to gyne now.

Not sure if private tests would be any different.
