Ovulation test!

My app says I ovulated on 9th December, CD11.

The last time I took an ovulation test was on 22nd December and it was negative!

Is it possible to have a. positive ovulation test 13 days after a negative one?

It all depends on your cycles. Are you regular? How many days usually? If you are irregular the app may not be correct.
I am irregular and my app is predicting I ovulate on the same week as my period so I know that isn't right.

You usually ovulate around 14 days before your period starts.

The opk isn't positive. Are you due on your period? Sometimes you can have a second surge before af. Or you can gear up to ovulate and then it doesn't happen so tries again later in the cycle

If you're 13 days after ovulation, you're probably due your period from tomorrow onwards? It is true that you can have another LH surge before your period is due. The test might have detected this.

Of course, you can ovulate twice during a cycle. It's not unknown, so it could be that too.

And lastly, you might be pregnant! Those tests can also detect pregnancy hormones. If you Google it there are various articles and threads out there about this if u want to find our more!

I'd get a pregnancy test or wait and see if your period comes in the next few days x

Its almost the same colour as the test line, which made me think why would I be getting a positive after ovulation? I have been taking bbt and my temps show i ovulated on 9th December. I did take ovulation tests in December and they were all much lighter than this one.

I did ovulation tests in December, i started testing from 13th, they werent positive but they were getting lighter, which told me i ovulated before 13th, and my app says 9th and my temps confirmed it was 9th.

This looked positive as its almost as dark as the control line, now i know its not! I will be careful in future (: but it made me ask why I would be getting a positive ovulation test after ovulation and i am 4 days late on my period.

You can get positive ovulation test when pregnant. I did! I would recommend doing a pregnancy test
