My husband and I are TTC. We usually go away on holiday in Sept. Easyjet have a good offer on their flights at the moment and normally I would just book it but my issue is say it worked this month and I am pregnant then we probably wouldn’t get to go on holiday as i could be 7/8 months pregnant! What would you all do?!

When we first started TTC I didn't do something's and put off arranging other things because I might be pregnant after a year I thought bugger it and did exactly as I pleased and now I'm so glad I did as it took 5 years and a round of IVF before I finally became pregnant. In November we were due to go to Barbados but just changed our booking to Tenerife when our IVF was successful. My advice would be book your flights get some insurance and if you are one of the lucky ones who doesn't have to try to hard just change your plans to suit, the worse that'll happen is you might lose a few hundred which isn't an awful lot in the grand scheme of things if you consider what experiences you may miss out on if you put things off.

My husband an I have been TTC for around 5 months now and we usually travel quite a bit but book holidays much earlier to get good deals and so you have something to look forward to. But we decided it might be better to wait as we've been trying for a few months and might get lucky. But it felt like we were already changing our lives so much when nothing was happening and then getting BFN's each month was just disappointing and depressing so we booked something just to give us hope and make us look forward to something. Of course a BFP would be amazing but I supposed we do need distractions until we get there

dp and I were about the start ttc but then we booked a holiday so we have delayed TTC until after our holiday now. But mine is in march so I didn't have that long to wait. But booking in September may be like tempting fate.. it just depends if you are in a financial state to lose the deposit if you have to cancel it later on or not I guess.

Hello, I actually work there and you should be fine to travel up until your 35th week of pregnancy so it's up to you. There's always a chance you might not get pregnant for a few tries (I'm 9 months deep into trying) but you also could be one of the lucky ones! If you did conceive you could always have a baby moon but maybe book August? Just in case. Good luck with TTC ❤️

As a former long term TTC’er I wouldn’t advise putting anything on hold. Flights can be changed or moved but you’ll kick yourself if you get to September and are still TTC and thinking you could have been on holiday.

It took us 5 years TTC before my first pregnancy only for it to end in mc at 12 weeks swiftly followed by a second mc a few months later. My best advice is don't put your life on hold just in case it takes a while to get a viable pregnancy. You can always change/ cancel if you need to and ensure you have adequate travel insurance. Good luck in your journey!
