Pregnant or from miscarriage?

Hi! I've written this about 5 times (site keeps logging me out as I click post?) so it may seem brief but if it works I can add more detail.
Had a mc mid Oct, needed a D&C - had period approx 5 weeks later. 5 days and heavy. Had negative preg tests from 2 weeks after the MC - started trying again last month (Nov) had a positive OPK on cd24 (I have long cycles around 36 days and I expected them to be weird after the MC anyway).
Took a first response test 11dpo as I was apparently due my period that day anyway and it was positive (appeared really quick too, faint but definitely there). I'm wondering if this is definitely a positive or if due to the first response sensitivity being so low it could be residual HCG from the MC?? Is that possible after so many negatives and a full period?
Any advice would be great :D

I would have thought it was unlikely to be your miscarriage but that you're actually pregnant? I had a similar time between miscarriage and conceiving my DS.

I’m sorry for your loss OP, I agree and would say your pregnant considering the negative tests after your loss and that you had a period x

I took (many) tests a few days later (with higher sensitivity) and they’ve all been positive :D
Thank you for the reply though! Hope everything goes well!

Thanks for replying, I’ve taken more tests now (higher sensitivity digital) and they’re definitely positive, so hoping everything goes well :)
