Hormone blood tests

I’ve been having really irregular cycles so my GP has taken some blood to check hormone levels.

Has anyone else had these tests? Any positive stories?

The GP didn’t give me much information about what the test are for or what will happen if the results aren’t good.

Basically looking for any past experiences because I’m completely in the dark!

Thank you ladies x

I had hormone blood tests in November, they didn't give a huge amount of detail but I do remember thyroid being tested and also prolactin. The hormone results took much longer than the thyroid test, about 3 weeks. Sorry that's not much help x

You need to find out what they're testing for. Results could mean a huge range of things depending on what tests they've done.
