Anybody else trying to conceive Baby #2 who would like a bit of company ??

Hello! I'm also TTC number two :)

I have a daughter who will be three in March. I have already been pregnancy this year but sadly lost him at 18.5 weeks (devastating).

We are now feeling ready to TTC again - although with a lot of nervousness!

CD11 - so will you be coming up to ovulation soon?

I ovulated for the first time since our loss this week, so am just at the beginning of the TWW. 1DPO I think!

Very sorry to hear of your loss Molly its understandable you are nervous.

We would be trying now but have some work happening to our house in the new year so we are putting it on hold for a couple of months.

I have a 14mo old DS so he will be 16mo ish at the time of ttc.

Partner & I are tentatively TTC #2. Already have a daughter (nearly 7) but have piled on a heap of weight in the last few years so attempting to get myself in better shape & if it happens in the meantime 🤞🏽 was such a young mummy the first time round & ready to do it all again being better prepared. I'm also on CD11 of cycle 1, HJWT! DD is 16 months.

Would love some company. First time actually TTC, DD was a very happy surprise so I naively thought number 2 would be easy. But my cycles have become so irregular it seems impossible to track ovulation. I’m waiting for blood test results from the doctor to check hormone levels etc.

I have friends desperately trying for their first baby and having failed ivf cycles, I know I’m so blessed to have my daughter but that longing for a second baby is so strong. I feel like our family isn’t complete yet! I’m hoping my blood test results should come back ok.

Starting to get cold feet as we are due to start trying this month but DS is being so lovely I keep thinking about what I’m going to do to him! I’ve always wanted more than 1 though and I know he’ll be happy with a sibling if we’re blessed with one but still.

Also I totally agree that I'm enjoying my first so much i sometimes waiver about having a second!! BUT I love my sister so much - so if I can give her a sibling I would love too (I have to block out the thought of sleepless nights and how broke I will be forever haha)

Hi everyone! Sorry iv not replied, I had the night from HELL with DD (just transferred to toddler bed) and its safe to say the first thing i did today was buy a safety gate for her door!!! She is currently playing in her room NOT sleeping 😪.

Hoping me and DH will get to DTD before Wednesday as due to ovulate then according to Flo app! But not looking likely!!

Omg good luck with bedtimes!! Our DD is still in a cot and I am so scared of having her in a bed she can 'escape' from! She would never go to sleep 😂.

I am using an app and im fortunate enough that my periods and ovulation dates are on track. Doesnt mean it will happen straight away, but we will keep trying and what will be will be.
Fingers crossed will all succeed

Hi ladies, hope it is ok to join. I am TTC #2. My DS is 2 and a half and we made the toddler bed transition a few weeks ago - coping well although we have pillows on the floor as he does occasionally fall out (baby gate on door!).

Been TTC for a year now having had two MMCs in 2018 - one in April after 11weeks and one in November after 10 weeks. I got pregnant straight away with DS so this last year has been quite a shock and struggle. Trying to stay positive

On CD 16. Using clear blue OPKs second day of flashing smiley so should be ovulating in next day or so. Usually 28 day cycle but I'm already 2 days behind which is likely due to the MC.

Hey! Just wondering how everyone was getting on? I’m on cycle day 18 and thought I felt some ovulation pain a couple of days ago. My cycles haven’t been overly regular since having DS and can be anywhere between 28-35 days so no idea if it actually was or not! We decided not to use OPKs as I was worried it would make it all a bit clinical but as it stands I’ve been referring to our DTD schedule anyways so it would appear I’ve managed that myself!

Had AF on Friday so onto cycle 3 trying to conceive number 2.

Can I ask how many tines it took to conceive number 1? Happened first time with number 1 for me so trying to not think the worse and that this normal to try for a few months

AF arrived yesterday so onto cycle 2.

We were first month for DS @Explorers10 so finding this tough too! Feeling really silly for being upset it didn’t happen straight away when that obviously isn’t the norm.

Oh no sorry to hear you got your AF. It’s such a shock isn’t it. I’ve got better & trying to be kind to myself and positive that it will happen! Let me know how you get on. I’m on CD15 so half way through!

AF arrived for me mid Jan so now in the TWW again. BFP due on Valentines Day so hoping for an extra special message this year.
