Just started temping, does this look like I've ovulated? I have a 36 day cycle, I'm on day 16. Thanks in advance!

Looks like you're entering the fertile week. So could ovulate any time over the next few days. Do you track cervical mucus? You should have egg White cervical mucus around this time. So get cracking on dtd.

Do you know how long your luteal phase is? Between ovulation and starting your period? Average is 14 days but can be higher or lower. Based on average I'd guess you would ovulate around cd22.

I did have some yesterday. I'm a little unsure of how long my luteal phase is as I came off the pill 3 months ago so had a bit of a weird couple of cycles. Last month seemed normal but no clear positives on the OPKs either. I've taken an opk today and it wasn't positive by the looks of it. Confused!

From memory, a temp drop for 2 days means you ovulated the day or dropped. If it's low again tomorrow or will probably put your ovulation date as yesterday, if you follow! Been a while since I did this mind...

I don't think that's right @Haypanky. You need a sustained temperature rise for 3 days to confirm ovulation. But when I temped I found a drop before a rise.

Keep using the opks, once positive its likely you'll ovulate within 12-36 hours @showmethegin

Thank you! It's all so bloody confusing! Feel like just trying to dtd every other day and seeing what happens. Interested to see what the thermometer says in the morning.
