Am I Ovulating? Confused!

I have recently come off Cerazette, 20th December, I the. had a withdrawal bleed 24th to 27th December.

I’ve had terrible backache and nausea since the 26th, which I’ve read is normal.

Today I have wiped and had a large amount of CM, which is kind of egg white but a bit creamy, so not entirely sure if this is ovulation or just another side effect.

I’ve never tracked my cycles, or had a real period since 2010 due to contraception, so no idea!

Thanks in Advance!

It would be unusual to ovulate on CD6 but not impossible if your cycles are regulating themselves after the pill

Maybe get some ovulation tests? I always bought mine in bulk on eBay, much cheaper than Boots

I didn’t ovulate for at least 6 months when I came off cerazette (can’t remember exact number of months as was long time ago, but I had a positive opk the cycle before my fiancé left me - I’d been tracking CM and using opk from months 2 off of cerazette). Spent my wages in pg tests as had every symptom in the book but turned out it was just withdrawal from the hormones.

Hoping that’s not the case for you though ❤️

I’ve never done temping but many ladies here use it as a way to track cycle and ovulation - might be useful? Cheaper than OPK testing! Xx

It could absolutely be a sign of impending ovulation, the drop on progesterone stopping the pill can stimulate an ovulation, hence why the timing for missing a pill is so strict, get some ovulation strips to see
