So me and my dp are ttc we have a DD 18month and I'm just so excited and needed to tell someone. We've decided not to tell anyone, I really don't want to jinx it. I'm using the flo app to keep track.
I'm not sure if there's anyone who's on there first cycle of trying.

Me! DD1 is 5 in a few weeks and we’ve just started trying for DC2.

purplerainbows · 28/12/2018 13:26

Hi ladies, I've just got my BFP for number 2 today 😁 only started trying this month so very surprised to fall so quickly. My daughter is 20 months.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 28/12/2018 13:40

How many dpos are you? I’m only 10 and took a test today but not sure if it’s positive. I can see a faint line but not sure if I’m just imagining it.

HatePeppaPig · 28/12/2018 13:49

Congratulations purple. I'm only 3 days post period so I've got a long month ahead, not looking forward to the two weeks wait I'm not patient I'll have to sit on my hands to stop from testing the day after I ovulate

Am I seeing things?

Hello. DS was 13 months on Boxing Day and we decided then to start trying for #2. I’m still breastfeeding so have no idea if I’m actually ovulating, but it’s now CD12 after the first period I’ve had since Feb 2017.
I’m tracking with ovia

LaBelleSausage · 28/12/2018 17:53

@BeingATwatItsABingThing if you’re seeing things then I am too. I hope it sticks

purplerainbows · 28/12/2018 18:03

@BeingATwatItsABingThing I think I can see a line on your test too. I first took one around 9dpo and it was hardly visible but I could see something if I super squinted at it. Then took another today, 11dpo ish and it is nice and clear. This was my first test.

And this was the second one two days later. I'd wait two days then test again.

@HatePeppaPig I also am rubbish at waiting to test. I gave in and tested on Xmas eve which was silly as I was only around 7dpo then 🤦‍♀️ knew it would be negative but couldn't stop myself.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 28/12/2018 18:16

I’m feeling all bloated and needing the loo every 10 minutes which is apparently early signs because the uterus gets quite big quite quickly.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 28/12/2018 18:16

purple I can definitely see your line. Congratulations.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 30/12/2018 19:31

Couldn’t wait to take another one.

I can definitely see one there too! How exciting Smile
Pretty sure I ovulated today - felt a pain in my right side this morning anyway so I guess I’ll be testing in about ten days if I’m sensible.

lucky88 · 30/12/2018 23:52

Hello.
Just posted on a similar thread.. not sure which ones are active etc.
Here goes..
I can not tell when I'm ovulating. The pee sticks never give me a positive. My temp doesn't really change. I don't have much CM and it never looks anything like 'egg whites'. What can I do to keep an eye out for OV ?
Feel like I'm fighting a losing battle, ttc with no idea of when ovulation is. Periods are regular, 27/ 28 days apart.

purplerainbows · 31/12/2018 04:48

@BeingATwatItsABingThing I can see a line there, congratulations GrinThanks

purplerainbows · 31/12/2018 04:49

Hi @lucky88 how many months have you been trying for? Might be worth seeing you GP and asking for blood tests to check ovulation is happening.

LaBelleSausage · 31/12/2018 04:59

So you’re looking for clear/stretchy cervical mucus, like raw egg white, and as you approach ovulation your cervix becomes soft, high, open and wet (SHOW).
After ovulation these signs reverse, and your cervix becomes firm, low, closed and dry.
There’s a chance you might not be ovulating though, but if you DTD every other day you’ll be pretty much covered for all eventualities if you are and just don’t know when

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 31/12/2018 06:41

I used the Flo app that told me roughly when I was ovulating. Made sure to DTD regularly around that date.

lucky88 · 31/12/2018 09:21

Thank you.
This month is our 5th cycle officially trying. A few months prior to that of no contraception but not DTD during supposed fertile window.
According to online ov calendar yesterday was the day. No signs though.
Yes I think if this month is unsuccessful I'll see GP.
DH and I are both 28, fit & active Confused was expecting to 'catch' easily.
Thanks & good luck everyone x
