Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB) and TTC

Anyone here diagnosed under the “umbrella” of Dysfunctional/Abnormal Uterine Bleeding?

(It’s when you have irregular, extremely long or heavy periods and all tests rule out any other causes)

I’m desperate to conceive and wondered if there were other sufferers here?

I’m going to be taking two weeks of progesterone from “day 15” and then having two weeks where we hope my body gets with the programme and does a follicular phase!

I have to do this for four months and then I get to see the Gynaecologist again if I’m not preggers!

I read one website about a lady strengthening her uterine lining naturally by drinking raspberry tea the first 14 days of her cycle and also pomegranate juice daily the first 14 days. She seems quite knowledgeable in the fact she has been doing lots of research and it worked for her as the doctors measured her lining was thicker after this.

DUB isn’t a problem related to the strength or thickness of the endometrium.

Basically it means my follicular phase is dodgy (for an unidentifiable reason) resulting in a lack of ovulation which in turn causes a failure of the luteal phase and later improper shedding of the lining.

If I hardly ever ovulate then I’m expecting it to prove pretty tough to conceive!

Hi i tgink i have this. Every ovulation day i bleed, i have been to four dictors who all tell me it's a hormone imbalance and won't help me. I'm seeing another doctor on Tuesday and basically refusing to leave until they help me. I want to ttc soon and I'm scared I won't be able to.
