Chances of conception?

Hey everyone! Short and sweet question...

Started Period (period lasted for 4 days), had sex on cycle day 8 which was 4 days after period ended. Normally have a regular cycle, every 28/30 days. What are my chances of conception?

The day we had sex was last night and weirdly I have period cramps today! As though I'm due to come on but came off my period 4 days ago... what does that mean?

It's too early to be feeling any pregnancy symptoms, but yes there is a chance you could become pregnant. You probably haven't ovulated yet, so try a couple more times over the next few days and you will maximise your chances.

This soon? @juneybean it's does feel like a period pain but it's only cycle day 8! I've been doings some research and some people are saying having sex can bring on ovulation?

And I wasn't thinking that the pains were pregnancy symptoms @ScarletGlow I was thinking maybe it is ovulation but it just seemed to soon. And I wanted to know the chances of conception if we only had sex on cycle day 8. DP works away so not easy...

The only way to know for sure is to pee on some OPK and track temperature...

Install the Glow App and add your last period in, the days you have sex etc. It will give you a percentage of how fertile you are on any given day.

My cycle is a different length to yours but my score is "low: 6.5% off pregnancy" on cycle day 8.

It was 2.7% chance the day before that (cycle day 7) and jumped up to medium: 8% chance on cycle day 11 for reference.

If you're trying to get pregnant, you can also take ovulation predictor kits and record those results in the app too x

Sometimes, also, I can get period-like cramps after having sex.

Just download it @WildFlower2019 thankyou. It seems like a good app. And I never normally get period cramps after sex so it's unusual for me so I'll just have to wait and see now but thank you all for your responses.
