TTC symptoms after miscarriage?

Sorry for the long post. I recently had a miscarriage the 1st week in December, I was just over 5 weeks and only bled for 2 days , on the 2nd day of bleeding the hospital confirmed it was an early complete miscarriage. By the next day my hgc was below 5.

For about 4 days now my breasts have been painful and are getting worse each day , to the point where when I roll over at night I am waking up . I ovulated on 17 December, and my partner and I have had sex every day since the bledding stopped. I never get sore breasts, I done an ovulation test 3 days ago and still is, which is confusing me.

Dr said to use day of miscarriage bleed and period, so I am due on around 6 January. So my question is can I still get pregnancy symptoms/ my body be messed up from the miscarriage even though by hgc was showing not pregnant (I also done early pregnancy tests after the blood just to check and they were negative) or is there a possibility I could be pregnant?

Thank you. X

The miscarriage could be causing those symptoms, but it could also have changed your usual menstrual symptoms a bit, meaning you may now get sore breasts before your period even if you didn't before.

There is a chance you're pregnant but it's too early to tell yet - all you can do is take a new test a couple of weeks after you ovulated, so probably 1st Jan onwards. If it's positive then you know it's a new pregnancy as your older tests were negative.

Good luck! :)

Thanks for coming back ! My cycles are normally short around 24 days , and I found a clear blue early lying round earlier today , so had to take it . There was the thinnest blue line there stupidly thin but definitely there. So I will test again in a week's time ! Fingers crossed ! X
