On the mini pill for 5 years, no periods

I’m 32 and been on the mini pill (progesterone only) for 5 nearly years, it’s stopped my periods completely. I’m thinking hypothetically about TTC and wondered if anyone else has come off the mini pill after years of no periods and how quick it was to fall pregnant, or to at least get a normal cycle back again? I’ve totally forgotten what it’s like to have a cycle and feel ovulation/period symptoms. I feel like everything has seized up in my womb system and can’t imagine it ever happening - something about being in my early 30s is making me anxious about this Confused

It took 5 months after stopping the pill before my periods came back and another 11 months until I fell pregnant with my son. Good luck!

@bigbagofnerves Hi, I came off the pill after 9 years in September, had a withdrawal bleed after 4 weeks and a regular period the next month, fell pregnant in November (sadly this was a chemical pregnancy) and found out this morning I’m pregnant. Hopefully this one sticks!
I’m 35 by the way!

I came off the mini pill in 2014 after around 10 yrs. The following month we conceived and now have a beautiful 3yr old DD. I didn’t have any problems conceiving at all. Good luck OP!

Was on the mini pill for 5 years (combined pill for 10 before that) and got pregnant 2nd month after stopping, which was my first month trying. Never had periods on the mini pill.
