Faint positive 3 days before AF due but no symptoms

Hi all!

Merry Christmas!

I tested with fmu on frer this morning and got a faint positive, im approx 12dpo and AF is due in 3 days. I haven’t really had any symptoms yet, aside from some cramps in my lower back/lower stomach which feel exactly like my usual PMS cramps.... I feel so sure AF is coming that I can’t believe I’m pregnant yet... anyone experienced something similar?

Many pregnancy symptoms are similar to the usual premenstrual symptoms, so it's understandable that you don't feel "convinced" yet. Maybe take another test in a few days and see if it's any darker. Good luck :)

Most ‘symptoms’ at that stage are imaginary really. There’s not much going on hormonally to cause symptoms.

I also had some cramping that felt like about to have a period cramping around the time I got my first positive pregnancy test.

Not that I’d remember what period cramps feel like since I’m still waiting for my next period more than 2 years later thanks to a toddler that is extremely keen on breastfeeding.
