Did you have symptoms before testing and getting your BFP? X

I never had symptoms before a BFP but always tested super early. I had symptoms before my period was missed though, just being really tired and a little bit nauseous.

SaltPans · 24/12/2018 22:31

I can't explain - it was just something different. You know how sometimes you feel on high alert - a different feeling to normal.

However, as in the above, the nausea started before the first pregnancy test.

No symptoms at all, I only tested (a day or two before my period was due) because I was going to a festival and would be drinking all day. We'd been trying for a few months and I was pretty certain we hadn't got the timing right that time.

I started to feel a bit odd four days later.

@Blueflower22 well perhaps 5dpo was a little early Grin. I can't talk tbh it was hard to hold of till 9dpo for me! And since I got my bfp on Friday I've tested everyday since and can't see me stopping for a little while. I'm petrified!

LittleBirdBlues · 24/12/2018 22:34

I've had three babies. With neither did I 'know' that I was pregnant, but with each there was a real excitement about taking the test (they were all surprise babies/let's see what happen). I do think I had a strong feeling without having any clear symptoms at all. It's an odd one!

Blueflower22 · 24/12/2018 22:45

@LittleBirdBlues wow you must have been so surprised. I've heard that a lot of people get symptoms and that's all most posts say! So it's good to hear they haven't

I only get symptoms about 8 weeks into the pregnancy. That's when the nausea kicks in which is unlike anything else. Before 8 weeks, any symptoms are so vague they can easily be caused by other things! Tiredness? Tender breasts? Headaches...?

Rubberduckies · 25/12/2018 08:40

Nope. No symptoms until I started throwing up at 5 weeks (13weeks later and haven't stopped)

I tested because my period didn't come, simple as that!

Blueflower22 · 27/12/2018 00:08

@Rubberduckies ohh I see, a lot of women are saying symptoms don't happen until later.
I feel pregnant so we'll see what happens!

Yes.. I craved sugary sweets, had really bad constipation and my boobs tingled!

ScarletGlow · 27/12/2018 00:16

I had symptoms at 6dpo. Hope you have good news soon!

Blueflower22 · 27/12/2018 00:19

@ScarletGlow thanks! I actually have no symptoms apart from twinges and weird heavy feeling in stomach, and feel as if AF will not arrive
