Faintest line on frer 9dpo

After mmc at 12 weeks that ended in erpc in October, we are ttc baby #1

Being slightly obsessed I tested yesterday at 9dpo (early I know) and got a very faint second line. Decided to test again this morning at 10dpo using clear blue with weeks indicator and it came back "not pregnant" so confused.

Anyone had anything similar? Wondering if the frer was dodgy, or if the cb is just not as sensitive and hasn't picked it up.

Any advice welcome :)

Hi! So sorry to hear what you have been through. CB digitals are nowhere near as sensitive as a FRER. 9DPO is also super early to test! It would be best to try another FRER in the morning to see if the faint line you got today gets darker. FX for you for a Christmas surprise!

@MrsEG thank you so much for your reply. I was hoping that was the case. I'll test again in the morning. Don't want to be drinking over Christmas if I'm pregnant so hopefully I'll get an answer one way or another tomorrow x

I do see a faint line there! To know for sure try another one first thing tomorrow and the line should be a bit darker for you!

@Mikewazowskismrs wow that looks very similar to mine. Don't want to get my hopes up though. If we are pregnant it's going to be an anxious time for us after our last experience but I'm really hoping for a Christmas miracle :) I'll keep you updated. Oh how exciting! What a lovely Christmas gift x

@missrose0110 it looks positive to me! So happy for you and looking forward to seeing it get darker over the coming days – keep us posted, please! How are you feeling – any symptoms to speak of? I am 10dpo today and not really any out-of-the-ordinary symptoms so not hopeful...

I've just tested on a clear blue and it's came up 'not pregnant'. I'm not going to test unless af is late. Due on Monday. This am I aren't I is torture, and constant testing is expensive lol. Think I might be out for this month. Good luck to everyone else!

Some sources say that clear blue is less sensitive than frer, so it could be that the hCG levels need a bit more time to be picked up on clear blue. I so hope it's a BFP – fx for you!

@kell2116 I've read that somewhere too, but last time I was pregnant, (ended in mc) by this point i had a positive on clear blue. I've literally been testing multiple times a day for the past few days and it's so expensive and emotionally hard to see negatives, so will consider myself out and only test if I am late. Will keep you updated! Hope you get your BFP!
