Hi just wondered if anyone can give me any advice/info regarding my chart, it's my first month charting so don't know what I'm looking for but does this look Normal/ok?

You've got a definite temperature shift which looks like you've ovulated. You've got lots of open circles though, your chart might be smoother if you take your temperature at the same time each morning.

Looks to me like you will get AF in the next 24 hours

Looks quite erratic, as a PP has said, but that will likely be due to taking temp at different times. How much variation have you got in the time you take it?

When I was charting BBT I also used to take three readings and plot the average. It's not necessary to do this but I found my charts were less erratic as a result.

Thanks for replying, it's so hard as I do shift work and I can't take my temp at the same time every day, I've been on early's so been waking up around 4am and on days off it's been around 8am but I always take it after my longest sleep would this affect it a lot? Sorry I'm a newbie to all this

Ah yeah shift work will make it loads harder for you to get that textbook chart. I think you're OK though as you can see the clear temperature shift on day 13/14 that suggests you ovulated then.

If you wanted a more stable looking chart you could look into getting an ovusense or other wearable thermometer but they're quite expensive and probably not necessary as you can see ovulation on your chart.

@Kinsters Great, thank you so much for your help! I know I ovulated around then as I had the darkest OPKS I've ever seen, AF DUE around 28th/29th not sure when to test, don't think I can wait 🙈 however I've been really good this month haven't googled anything or symptom spotted but maybe because I've not really had any, the last two months I've had everything nausea, sore boobs and all ended in BFN this month nothing and will probably also be BFN hate to get my hopes up, so anything else would be a bonus. Don't you just wish your wee would turn purple or something when your PG instead of the dreaded TWW 😂

Yeah it would make it so much easier wouldn't it! I've always started testing super early cause I'm impatient and have actually got positives from 8 days post ovulation both times I got pregnant (chemical and mmc). Trying to be more chilled out this cycle which is the first one post miscarriage.

I guess you don't know how long your luteal phase is if this is your first month temping?

MrsP4 · 24/12/2018 16:26

@Kinsters yeah it's all very confusing, and no I don't have a clue really but think it's about 14 days.
