Giving coil as a gift ?

My partner and I have talked about having another baby a few times, he’s really keen I was unsure at first as we already have 3 children but have now decided I’m ready to try for another baby. I have copper coil in our youngest is 2 years old. I’ve considered having my coil out and wrapping it up and putting in a gift box as a present, obviously I’ve bought him other things but dunno if it’s a bit gross giving him a coil that’s been in my womb for last 2 years or whether he will think it’s a nice gesture. People wrap positive pregnancy tests up and they have urine on and I’ve even saved my pregnancy test from my first child who’s 11yrs old.
Any thoughts ?

Maybe just tell him with your words that you want another baby. I would find a wrapped up coil a bit gross to be honest! Good luck with TTC!

milkysmum · 23/12/2018 00:08

No i wouldn't do that to be honest, and I am someone who wrapped up a positive pregnancy test. It just seems a bit odd really.

DamnShesaSexyChick · 23/12/2018 00:08

You're copying that from Deadpool 2

Witchofzog · 23/12/2018 00:10

Erm no I really wouldn't. I dont think he would even know what it is to be honest anyway. Just have a nice dinner and tell him then Smile

I’m free and easy about body fluids etc, but I think that this sounds like you’re trying to cutisify and create “a moment” in a very strange way.

If you want to give something related to the actual act of conception, maybe make a little gift box of (allegedly) sperm- enhancing foods or a bottle of that lube that’s supposed to help you conceive or something.

Don’t give him your uterussy old coil. What the fuck is he supposed to do with it after? Keep it with his cuff links!?

Hawkmoth · 23/12/2018 00:11

Perhaps this might be less confronting?

TrippingTheVelvet · 23/12/2018 00:11

That is beyond rank

Jayfee · 23/12/2018 00:12

Nasty idea imo

ILoveMaxiBondi · 23/12/2018 00:14

Eww!!

ScarletGlow · 23/12/2018 01:12

@TheSheepofWallSt
"Uterussy" is a great adjective

MerryChristmasArthur · 23/12/2018 08:52

Wow, what a weird gift.

You: 'Here you are darling, merry Christmas it's my used coil, let's get baby making'
Him: 'Erm no I'm alright, that's totally out me off my breakfast' 🤢

MerryChristmasArthur · 23/12/2018 08:52

Put not out*

PerverseConverse · 23/12/2018 09:13

Gross.

Racecardriver · 23/12/2018 09:16

Well that would ruin Christmas in a heart beat.

Shahlalala · 23/12/2018 09:16

I would find this a bit strange.

I just told my DH I was pregnant though, no cake, t-shirt, gift wrapped POAS or anything.... so I might be out the loop.

poppet31 · 23/12/2018 09:17

This is just creepy. Don't do it.

ecuse · 23/12/2018 09:18

Gross. No!

TheWifeofRequirement · 23/12/2018 09:19

Is he a deadpool fan?

Lamentations · 23/12/2018 09:20

It's really not romantic OP 😂

Mondaytired · 23/12/2018 09:21

Gross

borntobequiet · 23/12/2018 09:23

Would you remove it yourself? Because I don’t think any medical professional would let you have it back after removal.

Theweasleytwins · 23/12/2018 09:29

I think its cute but i love Deadpool

speakfriendandenter · 23/12/2018 09:30

Isn't this what they did in deadpool 2? Is he a fan?

speakfriendandenter · 23/12/2018 09:30

Cross post Weasley Smile

Lymphy · 23/12/2018 12:47

In the kindest way , please don’t, let it be disposed of properly by clinical waste after removal x
