Is it possible to get pregnancy symptoms before a positive test???

Has anyone experienced this? My boobs feel so sore but can't take a test until Sunday according to my O dates. Am I just imagining it/going mad???

Yes I felt queasy before I was due to take a test

duckegg yes, I imagine it was because of twins that I got a positive so early, but it was really strange that despite a negative early morning test I just knew

And in the end I found I was expecting twins at 8 weeks because having had chemical pregnancies in the past and not having any particularly strong symptoms after the certainty before I got my bfp I thought that perhaps I wan't pregnant after all so went for a private scan!

Weakened and took one of my ICs, BFN for me.... For now???

I did. My boobs hurt so bad. According to the sonographer I would have only been 2-3 weeks pregnant when that happened.

I had no idea, my period was a week late and I thought I would do a test but had been very stressed so put the lateness down to that.

I felt awful when I was pregnant even before my period was late!

I was in the worst mood ever before I got my BFP, I could have fallen out with my own shadow. I was nearly a divorced pregnant woman because of my mood, the day before AF was due I knew something was wrong & did a test, it was glowing positive within seconds.

I've had so many symptoms tested at 10dpo and was negative so told myself I must be imagining them all because I read on here somewhere if it's early enough for symptoms it's early enough for bfp... tested tonight as period 2 days late and bfp. I've had sore boobs and an aversion to food.. which is unlike me I like all food all the time also I've been having hot flashes for about a week where I randomly got all hot and sweaty... good luck op

Omg @flossylou I've been having hot flashes too! Oh gosh I'm really getting my hopes up now and I shouldn't! 🙈 I had an accident and fell pregnant after coming off the implant v quickly with what would have been 3rd child and I was so gutted, as I already have the perfect little family. Had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and now feel totally different. Praying for our rainbow🌈 xxx

@duckeggbluenotblue oooh fingers crossed for your 🌈 baby then. It's such a weird symptom I don't remember it at all but it is 11 years since I've been pg... thought I was having an early menopause.. at 32!xxx

I felt really sick for the 3 evenings before my period was due. I waited till the day it was due before testing first thing.

First pregnancy I felt utterly exhausted from around 11dpo and with the second pregnancy the first symptom was sore boobs 3 days before testing.

Think I'm 9/10dpo today and a definite BFN for me on an internet cheapy 😓 still don't feel 'right' got sore boobs and nausea but think I'm putting that down to AF on her way. Ahh an extra Christmas present would have been nice but guess theres always next month 😕 thanks everyone xx

@duckeggbluenotblue 9/10 dpo is still really early.... like I said I tested then and got a stark negative. I convinced myself that was me out, to the point I've made loads of bloody plans involving drinking over xmas that I now need to get dh and I out of 🙄. Your not out till af is here. Try and hold out till then for testing because it's so disheartening seeing bfn. Xx

I know @flossylou, we are supposed to be drinking with friends today 🤦🏻‍♀ wont be able to enjoy it as something just doesn't feel right - have managed to convince myself the same thing last month too so going to be kicking myself Thursday when AF turns up and I've had a teetotal Xmas just in case!!! 😂😂

I knew I was pregnant within days of conception both times. Symptoms were: my body just felt different, I had -morning- all day sickness, and was ravenously hungry. And we had been told that my h had no sperm so it was extra unlikely that I was pregnant, but I was absolutely sure so I did a test 3 weeks after conception and it was positive.

Yes, really painful breasts, a week before I tested (I tested when I was late)
