Utterly confused 21dpo unclear test

Please can someone help, we have been ttc for years.
I posted some weeks ago when I tested early and got what I thought were very very faint lines. Mumsnet didn’t seem to agree. 2 weeks later no AF and I feel exhausted ALL the time and nauseous on and off. Did a test this morning and the attached is the result. Looks like a false positive to me and it’s made me burst into tears, I don’t know what to think. The line is too thin and skewed to the side. I know I should wait and test again with a better test tomorrow morning but I just want to know now.

Yes, that's an evap. Skinny and off-centre. Try a better test.

Hotpinkangel19 · 21/12/2018 14:35

These are horrible cruel tests and this is how the Evaps show ☹️ I'd get a better test. I know that's not what you want to hear so sending hugs x

It has a very very faint thick line, but only at the top. Annoying.

Did you test again with a better test? Wishing you luck Flowers

Tobebythesea · 22/12/2018 11:22

How did it go? Did you try First Response?

MeOldChina · 22/12/2018 12:33

Sorry, i think at 21dpo you'd expect a very clear line. It could be that you ovulated late, so youre not out until the Red Witch arrives. Skipped ovulation can also give you a messed up cycle.

Blablaa · 22/12/2018 17:12

Yep looks like it was an evil evap line. Did a clearblue this morning and it was completely blank, not even a squinter. I'm on CD 45 and AF still hasn't shown up, don't know what's going on but ruling out being pregnant. meoldchina my thoughts exactly, I'd be worrying if I could still see faint lines at 21dpo so in a way this is bittersweet. Still feeling like poo all the time though and just want AF to come so I can try again.

Ah sorry to hear that. Have you been under a lot of stress? Something else must be delaying your period. Hope you get to the bottom of it Flowers

Blablaa · 23/12/2018 15:50

scarletglow not an unusual amount of stress, no. I’m confused as it’s CD46 and still no signs of AF but I’m getting all the usual PMS symptoms, and no bfp either.
