Could I still be pregnant?!

Hi.

This is driving me insane at the min-so I’ve got bloating, dizziness, sore boobs, fatigue, nausea, heartburn (which I’ve had for a while but can’t stop it even with prescribed meds) and going off foods and alcohol which is unheard of for me!

I’ve done copious tests including 2 digital and had a period in between when I think I would have conceived, this started earlier than normal but overall was a normal period. A bit lighter here and there but normal bleeding overall.

Is the only way to stop all this questioning and worry is to ask for a blood test? Can this only be done at the GP? My GPS is fully booked until after Xmas and my patience is wearing thin!

If tests are all negative I'd say you aren't pregnant. The doctor is unlikely to test if your urine tests are negative

There may be other reasons why you have all those symptoms.

We're your tests positive or negative? I think that's a really important factor here.

If they were positive, and you have experienced bleeding you will need to ring your GP and explain what has happened, if there are no appointments be prepared to speak to someone over the phone (despite how many feel about GP receptionists, they are bound by medical in confidence and able to pass on messages to the GP to ring you back if necessary). They will get you in for a blood test if this is the case and may also book you in with the early pregnancy unit to find out why the bleeding has occurred.

Hope your ok OP

Thanks for all the insight. Sadly they were all negative bar one that had a really faint positive before my period came so I think I can say I'm not pregnant. As suggested the docs said it could be a hernia!

Not the answer I wanted but hey ho! Marry Christmas everyone and thank you
