Please help!

Hi! I’m new to this, it’s possible I might be pregnant. I’ve done two tests, and both came up with a quite faint line, but I’ve done another 3 that have come back negative. People have been saying to me a line is a line no matter how faint but I’m just so confused! I don’t know if it’s because if I am pregnant, it’ll be very early days, like 2 and a half, 3 weeks maximum, but I just needed some advice! Thankyou! Xxx

@leigh2609 Try to make sure you take a test first thing in the morning where the hormone is more concentrated in your urine - the later in the day you test, the more water you’ve drank so urine becomes diluted. If you have any more tests I’d try again first thing. FX for you!

@MrsEG I did a test this morning before I went to work and gave it my best friend to look at it after it developed (I was late and she lives with me) and she FaceTimed me showing me and there was a line on there, it was still faint but more present that any of the other ones, does this mean I am pregnant?

@leigh2609 It’s hard to tell without seeing it! How many days post-ovulation are you? If the line is very faint maybe try another test tomorrow morning and see if it is getting darker - then you’ll know for sure :)

@MesEG I know! I joined today so it won’t let me upload yet, on the most recent one the line is defo there you can see it more than other ones I’ve done! I’m late on my period for 4/5 days now, I’ve been needing to wee a lot! I feel sick quite often, and my boobs are starting to ache, are these signs?x

@leigh2609 If your period is late and there is a line on a test then it sounds positive to me! Congrats

If you did a test today and it has two lines then I’d say you are pregnant, what brand of test was it?

@MrsEG Thankyou! I don’t know if it’s worth phoning my GP for an appointment because it’s still quite early days, I think 2-3 weeks max, or shall I wait another week?

@Lymphy I did a first response this morning, but I’ve done co-op’s own aswell a few days ago and that’s come back with two lines aswell

What were the brands you got a negative on just for interest, tbh GP won’t do anything but you can make a booking appointment with a midwife, usually make that appointment when your about at about 5/6 weeks

Take a digital test as you'll get a clear yes or no.

If you think your testing too early then don't do a clear blue digital as pp has said.
Early detection tests are able to detect around 10-25mIU hormone. While a clear blue digital detects 50mIU. So you're better off keep testing with sheepish stick until you get some line progression then try a digital.

Pregnancy is generally dated from your last period. For many people this is about two weeks before you ovulate (taking the average cycle length as being 28 days). This makes you two more weeks pregnant than you're thinking. By the time af is late, you generally (but not always) have pretty clear lines.

@physicskate it's now letting me upload a photo, here it is! I took this about a week ago, I've had two more tests come back with a faint line like that, and then 3 negatives

Is that an accu-clear tests or whatever the name is?
I've had the same really really faint line, negative on a first response, very very faint lines in Superdrug own brand and a first response.
I'm so confused. Hope you get your bro and keep up updated!

@APositiveMind no it's from co-op early sign I think it's called! I've had a positive on them, wilkos own, and Tesco I think it was, but done a couple first response and they've been negative!
