TTC orgasm?

Hi all,

New to the forums!

TTC my first baby. Sorry if this is a silly question!

Normally DP finishes first and then we use ‘other methods’ so I finish. Does having an orgasm after he has deposited effect chances on conception?

My understanding is that the contractions from your O help the sperm get to where they need to be!

It helps, but it’s by no means essential, OP. It used to be one of many myths that women couldn’t conceive unless they had an orgasm - and it was used to discredit pregnant rape victims, saying they
must have enjoyed it or they wouldn’t be pregnant.
