We are only just trying for our second child, but I was put on citalopram in May for depression. I have been advised that if we're ttc I should start taking sertraline 50mg instead as it's slightly safer... I was just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar position?

Hi OP, sertraline is the safer choice. I suffer with anxiety and depression and when talking to my doctors that's the medication they offered. They assured me it's the safest one, if you need to stay on the medication I would say to switch as soon as you can x

I was on citropram when pregnant with ds (now 1) nobody said anything other than to come off them when 35 weeks pregnant . I must say I didn't make it to 35weeks I had him at 33.3 weeks but strangely enough I had came off the at 28weeks. X
