TTC #2 After MMC

I am recovering from MMC and DH and I are keen to keep trying for #2.

Has anyone conceived before their first post miscarriage period? When would you date the pregnancy from?
Will my cycle start once the bleeding has finished.

When would be best to check for ovulation?

Anyone else in the boat too?

Hi, I had a MMC in my first pregnancy. We tried again as soon as I stopped bleeding from the medical management but didn't get pregnant that month. We got pregnant the month after though. Good luck & sorry for your loss Thanks

I think I feel guilty for just wanting to keep trying, but we still want out baby.

I thought I wouldn't want to try again for ages but I felt like it straight away. I imagine it's driven by hormones but you have nothing to feel guilty for xx

Sky so sorry for your loss. I recently had a ERPC due to a MMC, currently 10 days post surgery. Is so hard and such a difficult feeling of wanting to try again but also grieving for the baby you lost.

You are more than welcome to join us on the July '19ers thread as many of us on there will be going through what you are, especially around dates and MMC.

I've been advised to count my cycle as starting from day of ERPC, so assume that is first day of bleeding.

As for ovulation, I cant imagine we will be doing that until a little while after our HCG levels go back down to around 0 which could take a couple of weeks.

Feels all so overwhelming doesn't it? and all out of our control even more so than TTC prior the MMC!

Good luck and like I said, feel free to join us over on the other thread (you'll be made to feel very welcome)
