Just had my first of six attempts of IUI. I didn't come on my period by the test date (Tuesday) so was very hopeful. However it was negative. I finally came on yesterday. This was over 18 days after I should have ovulated. Do you think they got my ovulation date wrong as I thought I should come on 14 days after? Think it's important to add I was having injections to make me ovulate does this make a difference to when I should come on? Can it cause it to be longer than 14 days?

Also if you had IUI did it work with for you?

I know not everyone can answer both questions would be happy for an answer to either. Thanks

We're you on progesterone supplementation during the TWW? If so this will have held off/delayed AF.

OK your LP should have been whatever your normal length is then - when was your trigger shot? Most trigger shots are designed so that ovulation will occur shortly after 36 hours later. I had IVF rather than IUI but I think the trigger shots used are the same, egg collection is timed to be 36 hours after trigger shot and my clinic got in a panic because we got stuck in traffic on the way and arrived 15 minutes late and was at risk of ovulating all my eggs before they could get them out.

Thanks @CritterTamer my trigger shot was 24 hours before IUI. I'm going to ring them tomorrow to see what they think. I know they are the experts but had so many issues with them losing paperwork etc I'm losing confidence.
