So this month I've used clear blue ovulation tests and according to when I peaked and my ovulation was I can test Christmas day! Anyone elses test day Christmas day ? Hoping for some Christmas luck ❤️

I woke up today still with cramping in my lower left stomach!

Had been really crampy this week, and on Friday had a pulling sensation deep down on my left hand side.
Took off my bra last night and my boobs felt like rocks. I honestly don't remember feeling like this since being pregnant with my DS but know this is cycle 1 and it's unlikely to be this lucky!

Looks like we are all pretty crampy which is weird so early. @Billyandthesillies according to Countdown to Pregnancy sore boobs are pretty much the only reliable symptom to spot so FX!
I finish work on Thursday so was thinking of a sneaky test on Friday morning 10dpo now DH has told me that he has booked the day off and he is very against early testing even though we have 4 FRER in the drawer just waiting!

@Soexciting I'm also going to be 10dpo on Friday morning. Think I'll test then too....reslly trying not to get my hopes up but it's so hard when that's all you can think about! At least ill be able to just Xmas before I ovulate again in the new year if not...

It really is a good resource it has a lot of calculators, indications about symptoms by dpo and my favourite a photo gallery where you can tweak tests and vote positive/negative/evap.

You can input your symptoms each day and it will calculate your likelihood to be pregnant

I don't know what's going on with me I'm so tired like I could sleep forever, got like a heavy feeling in my uterus too which is strange!

Can I join the Christmas Day brigade? It’ll either be an amazing morning or I’ll be in the pits of depression! OPKs said I ovulated on the 12th and hubby went away that day..... grr! We’d managed dtd every other day the week before that, so fingers crossed! Absoultely knackered and full of the cold (nothing unusual for teachers in December!) so although I’m exhausted, i imagine that’s not potential-pregnancy related. Don’t want to test christmas day as I’ll be in a foul mood all day - think I’ll wait until Boxing Day too. If AF arrives, I’m Drowning my sorrows in baileys and puddings!

Hey @Teachermummy83 yes I think most of us are waiting until boxing day if AF doesn't arrive! Oh no I hope you feel better soon! I just know I'll be thinking about it all Christmas and won't be able to enjoy a drink incase I am!

I don't think I can wait until boxing day. I think I will be testing on Christmas day if not before!
Being at work is a good way to avoid symptom spotting although I am wishing away the last days of term for more reasons than one!

I might have to test a little bit earlier. Just nipped to the loo and potentially got some implantation bleeding. Or AF is showing her face 5 days early.

Wow that is amazing @Billyandthesillies. I hope it's implantation! I doubt that AF would be this early. I am so jealous my only sign today was that my mince pie tasted of ham..the chef probably heated them on the same rack as he had used for meat before.

@Soexciting oh no ham flavoured mince pie haha! I have also had some pink blood today just a small amount once while wiping 😬 I'm maybe gonna do a FRER this saturday! I'm just so scared of knowing early as I've had 3 miscarriages this year!

@Soexciting taste is usually the first thing that goes weird for me so you never know! Everything crossed.
Keep running back to the loo to check and it was just the once so seemingly I may have been lucky. My head says this may just be my cycles readjusting after a month on notrethisterone to stop my period when I was on holiday in November. But my heart is very thankful that I didn't touch the pate on the cheese board yesterday.

@bethany0903 I had some pink blood last week but surely that would be much too early for implantation bleeding??? No idea what that was about. 🤔

Really sorry to hear about your miscarriages, I had one this year, and it was probably the worst thing thats happened to me 😓 really horrible x

@duckeggbluenotblue ooo I'm not too sure what it could be! There horrible aren't they! I was in agony with it they thought ectopic first! I had a really bad birth with my son and had lots of complications so scared that's done something hopefully not and it's just bad luck xx

Bad luck I think, I've had 2 healthy, easy pregnancies and straightforward births and I had one 😔 but I'm so scared another will happen. Fingers crossed this is our month and another sticky bean for us both 💗💗

So sorry to hear about your losses @bethany0903 and @duckeggbluenotblue. TTC is so scary anyway without the added fear of already having experience the worst and having to try again
For some reason I feel that I am not pregnant this cycle. I am symptom spotting like crazy but I don't have sore boobs, no implantation bleeding, only fleeting mild nausea and one dodgy mince pie. I feel like I was stupid to get excited on my first month trying.
A September baby would be so ideal for me and my DH and I feel like it's that whole "god laughs when you make plans thing". I am a natural pessimistic I think and am wondering how I am going to make it through potentially months if not years of trying.

How long have you been TTC for @soexciting?

@Soexciting I was reading some bfp stories last night because it keeps my spirits up and I thought of you. Someone said the first signs they had was going off mince!!!!

Yes I agree TTC is very hard and can be so upsetting a lot of my friends are announcing pregnancies and I'm so happy for them but so upset at the same time I feel like I've been trying forever!

Thanks for the reassurance.
Embarrassingly this is only my second cycle but I am a bit obsessive. I am stressed about the struggle to conceive before the struggle has even happened.
I am going to be positive I think this thread is going to be full of positives. Then in 9 months everyone who wanted a September baby will go a week early and end up with the youngest child in the school year!

Haha I'd love a September baby! Will have to wait and see! Xx
