X Ray in 2ww?

I'm probably overthinking this, but what's the accepted view of x rays in the tww? Early or late in the window?

I need an emergency dental appointment which might require an x ray, and I don't know what to say.

Thanks ladies

Dental x-ray I'd just crack on, especially if you might need urgent treatment.

Thanks @SockQueen

I'm definitely overthinking it! I'm sure it's fine, as implantation (if it's going to happen) wouldn't have happened yet.

Hi OP, not sure whether this is any help but my dentist refused to do an xray when I was in the TWW following my IVF cycle. Instead he put a temporary coating on the tooth to stop the pain and told me to go back if we got a negative result.

Ah, thank you. If they want to do xrays then I will mention it. Better to err on the side of caution.

I had dental X-rays early in pregnancy, no problems. Have close family member who is dentist and was v reassuring about it - go ahead, will be fine

Just to bring closure to this thread! I didn't need an X-ray so worry over nothing! Thanks for all your responses. Off to wallow in my tooth ache now...Confused
