Hey! I’m just looking for some advice/opinions. I’m on cycle 4 TTC#1.

I’ve been reading reviews about pre-conception vitamins and a few woman have advised against these as it made their cycle longer.. just looking for some success stories/bad reviews on different brands before I buy any! X

I take Pregnacare conception on the advice of my GP and haven’t noticed any changes in my cycle at all. I’d rather be taking them than not as I had a MC so psychologically they do make me feel better!

I used them both times ttc and never noticed that. Seven seas conception tablets - would definitely recommend.

Yakadee · 13/12/2018 21:21

I used the seven seas ones too and no problems here x

Are you taking folic acid?

Fortheloveofscience · 14/12/2018 07:30

I’ve been taking seven seas for the last 3 weeks and my regular 25 day cycle has increased to 28 days and counting. Think I ovulated 3 days later so expecting AF any day now.

I took Boots own brand and conceived first cycle xx

I took Tesco own brand and conceived quickly

MrsMcNtobe · 14/12/2018 14:56

Thanks for all your replies! @Fortheloveofsciense do you think that’s councidence? My cycles are 25 days too!

@peachypetite I take Asda own brand folic acid but unsure if I take pre-conception if that will cover my daily intake x

@MrsMcNtobe yes it will say so on the packet

Fortheloveofscience · 14/12/2018 22:35

I don’t think it’s a coincidence, my implant was taken out in May, I had a 28 day cycle just after but since then they’ve been 24 or 25 days with one 26. I’m now at the end of day 27 and no AF, and I’m definitely not pregnant because we’re not trying until next cycle! Also I’ve had sore boobs this week which I’ve not had since getting the implant out. The only thing that’s changed is the vitamins.
