Hi everyone,

We're desperately trying for number 2 but not a lot is happening right now so I think I need to start tracking my cycles more but I'm so confused.

There's lots of terms/abbreviations that I'm not sure on. Would anyone be able to give me a quick breakdown and summary please.

Thank you so much

Only advice I can suggest if your cycle is regular use a tracker on the internet, think clear blue have one, and it will tell you when your peak ovulation time is.... do it several times over those 3-4 days and keep things crossed.

Also something I read, not sure if it's true or myth but a man should "empty his load" on a fairly regular basis to keep it fresh and the best swimmers... so saving it up each month for that one hit means he may not have the best group ready to go iyswim

Get an app a period tracker app will predict ovulation, if you want to be more accurate you could look at bbt charting (basal body temperature) this is a method to confirm ovulation and pick up on pattern as well as recording your bodies fertile signs and signals ( I used fertility friend) there’s also ovulation tests as well to help detect the hormonal surge you get before ovulation. The best thing is to work out you typical cycle length first. Do you mean terms and abbreviations on MN conception or just in general xx
