4 faint positive tests then 2 negative

Hello, I have come here for advice as I have had a rather confusing week and a half.

My AF felt like it was late (i am quite irregular so don't know how late) so I took a freedom pregnancy test strip and I could swear I could see a faint second line. The next day AF (or what I thought was) came but was a dark brown and was not as heavy as usual but lasted around 5 days and finished last Wednesday.

During the 5 days, I tested again with freedom pregnancy test strips on days 2,3,4 all came up again with faint second lines which appeared to get darker.

I spoke to a friend of mine on text and she said they could be evap lines but when she saw them in person she said they looked like faint positives to her too. Just to be sure I then went and got two clear blue easy to read pregnancy tests(the ones with the crosses) and did one this Saturday just gone but it came back negative and did one the next day with first-morning wee and that also came back negative.

I have also noticed that I have been getting an aching type pain in my lower abdomen and pain in my left hip Confused. I am really confused but am holding off going to the doctors at the moment as mine isn't very good Sad

I will attach pictures of the tests once I figure out how lol Smile

Thank you in advance!

Sorry no it doesn’t sound like you are pregnant :(

Wait and see but most likely it was a chemical pregnancy or an evaporation line.

Tests are different strengths of sensitivity but it looks very unlikely that you are pregnant I'm afraid

Hormones increase at the time of your period... I forget which one it is but having pcos I get a positive OPK right before my period... some women know they are pregnant by positive OPKs when they are due (who don't have pcos) for me it's just that I get that surge in hormone

It might be that which caused them to appear faintly positive?

When I did get a positive pg test... it got darker and darker but I have had too many evap lines to count!

Clear blue tests have already given you the answer, I’m sorry that’s not what you wanted to hear, if you need to talk there is always someone here xxx
