Brown spotting instead of period

Hi everyone,

Looking for some advice please or anyone who might have had a similar experience.

AF is due today (14DPO). On 10DPO I started spotting brown blood with what looked like brown EWCM (sorry for the TMI) and that continued until 13DPO. I have woken up this morning and it seems to have stopped which is really strange. I was really upset that the spotting had started as early as 10DPO but I have had two early miscarriages (just before 6 weeks) back to back in August and October and this would be my first 'proper Period' since then. Should I just accept its a bit wonky from the miscarriages?

I took a FRER on 11DPO and it was negative. I took a clear blue yesterday 13DPO and I am pretty sure it has an evap line although there is a line I don't trust it.

I haven't tested again. I don't really want to test again.

What do you think?

@Holly5633 It could be implantation bleeding, brown in colour is what it is described as and can last up to 3 days. I have read that you need to leave it up to 3 days once this has stopped for you to get a possible positive on a test. If AF hasn't come in the next couple of days I would say test again FX x

Sorry to hear about your previous miscarriages but in my opinion it could definitely be implantation bleeding...this sounds very similar to what's happened to me this month. I had a mc at 6 weeks a year ago, then a chemical last month so I really know how you're feeling and doubtful when it could be happening again!

I spotted around 10/11dpo this month brown, few days later again and then my period was due today...but I took a test yesterday and got a blazing BFP! Then again this morning too!

I know it can be scary testing and like myself I had these random episodes of spotting this month and thought af was just about to start but I've been really surprised and still can't believe it because I'm in shock!
