TTC newbie here

Hi! i just wanted to introduce myself....I need someone on the "same boat", dont want to discuss with family or friends, just cant do the judgmental thing right now...
Well, the introduction itself, im 38 and DH is 58...we have two kids, the youngest is 11 now and we've been postponing another baby for a very long time for various reasons, but after talking and talking about it, we re just going for it...
I feel excited, scared and all the mixed feelings that are to be expected, starting all over again I hope we can all share our journey xx

I'm in the same ttc boat and not wanting to discuss with my family and friends yet because I'm 22 and OH is 31, tried for one cycle and got a BFN, now he's got cold feet and so we're going to actively try in january.
I have a family member who is 42 and due in February! So exciting

I'm on my 4th month of trying - this month has been unsuccessful as well - fingers crossed for Jan. It's been quite emotionally challenging. The two week wait has been a nightmare, very emotional and stressful.
Have not mentioned TTC to any family or friends. Everyone's been asking when we'll have another (we are 28 and have a 4yo already) but I don't want to jinx it. Yeah, I've not been finding any of it easy.

@90mammasophie if it’s any consolation...my friend who just turned 33 and has a 3year old...after nearly 9 months trying is having a baby in a couple of weeks...she’s the only one who encouraged me to go for it of all people who know me and I haven’t told her we are starting TTC yet
Hopefully you ll have better news next month...just came to my mind that when I had my dd (17 years ago) my last AF was on 10/12 😂😂
I don’t even want to think what I’m gonna be like 4 /5 months down the line xxx

Hi lovely, I'm in that boat with you, I'll be 38 in May, my OH is a little younger than yours at 44. My DD is also 11 and after many years of putting it off, we decided to go for it like you. Unfortunately in the last 16 months of trying we've suffered 2 MC's.

I actually couldn't give a shit what anyone else thinks, it's our lives and the amount of times my daughter has asked for a baby brother or sister is ridiculous!

So yes, you do whatever will make you happy, life is definately to short to please other people and there are kids in this world that are born without the love they deserve.
