TTC after a miscarriage

Hello

I have just had a miscarriage at 6 weeks, my boyfriend and I are absolutely devastated but trying to remain as positive as we can.

We want to start TTC as soon as we can , I was wondering how long it took other people to conceive after a miscarriage I have read you are more fertile - but not sure if that is true ? It took us 2 cycles to convince first time.

Suppose I am just looking for some hope / reassurance.

I can't say how long it takes, I had an mc early in November, so just getting back to ttc. But there are lots of inspirational ladies on here with positive stories, so I'll leave that to them. It's a shit thing to go through, but it does get better. Hugs to you x

Just wanted to say sorry about your miscarriage, I recently had one too and its truly devastating.
I also have no answers for how long its likely to take but I hope the 'more fertile' thing is true!

Hi @soph91 so sorry to hear your sad news. I can't answer your question, however I am in a similar position to you. My partner and I found out at the 12 weeks scan that our baby sadly passed away, which resulted in the need for an op. The loss is so heartbreaking isn't it. We're ttc this cycle too! Hoping we both get a bfp soon ❤️

Sorry to hear of your miscarriage. I think everyone is different. I first fell pregnant after 6 months. Had a miscarriage. Then took me 14 months to conceive again, which has ended in miscarriage again. So I'm trying again. But I also have suspended endo. Just waiting for a lap to confirm this.

Hi everyone so sorry to hear of your losses , it is so devastating but also seems to be so common which gives me hope ! I have spent so long reading into it and it seems some more people are more fertile after a MC. My Dr and the person that done my scan advised me to try straight away if I felt emotionally ready. Let's hope we all get a sticky positive soon ! X
