I’m new to this site but have been ttc for a year now. My partner and I dtd on the day of LH surge but missed the day of ovulation this month. I have been trying not to symptom spot but I can’t stop myself 😂. Two days ago I had severe cramps for ten mins and yesterday morning and today I had an hour of mild cramps in morning only. Took a pregnancy test ( pound land first vue) every day since 7dpo and all BFN (serial tester!!!). I know I sound a little crazy haha. My question is if AF is due today ( and she very regular ) would I not have a BFP today if I was lucky enough to be pregnant??? Also are first vue tests accurate? TIA xx

For some people it takes longer to get a bfp. With my first pregnancy I got a bfn at 13dpo so presumed I was out and then didn’t test until 16dpo when I finally had a faint line.
With my second pregnancy (ectopic) I got a bfn at 12dpo and a faint line at 14dpo. It does seem like a lot of people get their bfp early but not everyone.

My af is due today or tomorrow but got the familiar cramps so sure I’ll be out soon :(.

Good luck

Thanks for your reply! It’s good to hear that a BFP is still possible but I’m guessing the cramps are a sign AF is going to appear soon. Really need to stop symptom spotting as I’m sure it will happen in its on time - but easier said than done.

Good luck to you too 🤞🤞🤞
