OPK newbie

Hi, so as the title says I'm new to this Ttc business and have no idea about how OPK work..

So I'm cd 14 today all my apps say this is ov day... I've been using OPKs for a few days and had nothing, so this morning I did another and it had a faint line, this afternoon a stronger line but still not quite as strong as the test line? Do they get darker the closer you get? I'm confused! Any help is appreciated

They are predicting your lh surge so it's probably going to be anytime. I bet if you do another it'll be darker still.

Once you're surge has been detected you should ovulate with 24-48 hours x
