Positive OPK?

Do you get a positive OPK before ovulation or during ovulation? I've had ewcm and lower left pain sine Monday/Tuesday and had a really sharp pain about 2 hours ago so I took an OPK but it's negative 🤷‍♀️ I would of thought if I was ovulating now it would be positive? I have been dtd every other day since last Friday 😊

@Lozzy25 before ovulation. They pick up the LH Surge just before the egg is released, sounds like you have yourself covered though x
