TTC and Smear Test due

Hi ladies,

I just booked my smear test for next week not thinking that its the week that we will be DTD in the lead up to ovulation. I read that you shouldn't have sex 48 hours before so this would obviously rule out a smear next week. Do you think it would be ok to get the smear test after ovulation or would this be risky? Anyone went through the same scenario?

@xmairix I remember from mine that they do ask if there's any chance you're pregnant before hand. And I'm pretty sure if you say yes they make you do a test.

I'd ring the drs to check before you book

Before ovulation is best. I've never been asked not to have sex before it though (and I've had loads of smears!).
