Is 5DPO too early for implantation cramping?

I’m 5DPO today and experiencing cramping in the abdominal area. It feels like AF is going to start (I have 7 days left). I have also had full on bloating and had to wear stretchy pants the last few days 😱 is this too early at 5 DPO though? As a side note, this isn’t first month on Clomid.

Hi @Laurenita, I had tiny mild cramps to one side and then a wipe of brown discharge (TMI sorry!) at 5DPO, definitely wasn't painful as such just a little uncomfortable. I'm only 11DPO now and still in the TWW so no answer just yet unfortunately!

I hope it a good sign though, good luck!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thanks @pastasaucehoarder. I haven’t checked for IB to be honest, but will next time I go. But I’m quite surprised, it got worse since posting this, worse than AF pain and hurt to sit down (which is problematic when I’m working an office job! So I caved and took some paracetamol so it’s beginning to take effect. 😰 hope it’s not a sign of ectopic or something else bad. 😰

Oh no, that sounds rough!! I hope it eases off and is completely nothing to worry about. Flowers

You mentioned Clomid, can that cause cramps at all maybe?

@pastasaucehoarder Not that I’m aware off but thought I would mention it in case it was relevant. I never had all the dreaded side effects people speak of on the days I took them. 😊
