Anyone else half way through their TWW?

Do people usually hold out to POAS or do people cave.

I'm not sure if we've even done enough to catch this cycle

I'm currently 8dpo but caved yesterday and started testing.. of course it was BFN and I know I being ridiculous but I am a total POAS addict.

@Sleepingstarsmommy up until now (before I started lurking on mumsnet) I've always just waited until AF was late - although one month i think I did test early because BBT was ridiculously high.

How long have you been TTC?

I’m 10dpo today, ovulated early this month though so not 100% sure when af is due. My old faithful app I’ve used for years says I’ve 7 days til af and the newer one I’ve used since previous MC says period in 3 days. I did FR today and got bfn, going to try and wait til Thursday or Friday before I test again (I’m lying to myself here there’s no way I will last that long).

This time around I'm on cycle 17. Always used to catch within 3 cycles previously but had a lot of losses. Trying to give my ds a sibling now but it's not proving easy. Don't think age is on my side. Have had cd21 bloods done this cycle to investigate so will see what that reveals.

Yes, and going out of my mind! Have two possible dates for ovulation, CM on one and a positive OPK on another. To confuse matters I usually have a 31 day cycle and last month was 25! Hoping to hold out on testing till Friday when I should either be 15 or 11dpo! (Don't know if I'll manage not to test before then though!)

Thanks @showmethgin my ds is 4 now.. And I'm 41.. 2.5 stone heavier.. it's not looking promising but not about to give up yet..

As for POAS I really need someone to hide the tests from me. Have took a test today and think I may see a real squinter.. but then again it may just be wishful thinking.

I know how you feel, I have actually got my DP to hide them for me!

It's really hard isn't it. I'm trying to not get my hopes up for this cycle. I feel like I've spent 14 years thinking one missed pill and I'd be pregnant so it's a bit of a shock when you try and realise it's not that simple!

I'm currently 7/8 dpo I haven't used opk's so far so just going on mittelschmerz and my usual cycle length. Trying desperately to hold out until Thursday before POAS mania takes control of me

I’m 10dpo haven’t tested yet as I’m just scared of the bfn! AF due Friday so just trying to hold out as I’m convinced that I’m not pregnant. Currently cycle 5.

What's the earliest people tend to POAS?

Also, what are the 'tell tale' signs that we might be in for a BFP?

I'm on my first cycle trying and also not sure if we bd'd enough due to me not being well but any chance is a chance!

My last pregnancy I got a faint positive at 12 dpo so I'm working on similar this time hopefully! I really didn't have any symptoms this early last time!!

I've had a little nausea and mild cramps today and I've had a headache on and off for the last 4/5 days

Anyone else got any symptoms?

@stokieginge I caved at 7dpo this cycle which is ridiculous. Earliest I've ever had a bro is 10dpo. Latest was 15dpo. Will be 9dpo tomorrow and I can guarantee I will test again.

@takentheplungeagain symptom spotting has been hard this cycle as I haven't been well. Had a really high temp yesterday 39.2 and a pounding headache. Not feeling great today but not so I'll as yesterday so presuming it was some sort of virus. Therefore difficult to spot anything as it could just be down to not feeling well.

Would say I'm having a pinching pain in the left ovary area and possibly my breast feel heavier. But this could also just be the build up to af.

Did have a few vivid dreams which I wouldn't normally but again this could be due to the fever.

Hello all! Hoping this is a lucky thread! I've had sore boobs for a few days now! Trying not to symptom spot too much though!

If I knew for certain that my ovulation date was the earlier one then I'd definitely have caved by now but don't want to tempt fate. I've got some internet cheapies and one FRER that I'm saving till Saturday morning!

My nipples are sensitive and I feel like I have pressure down there - whether that's a symptom I have no idea

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone post their BFP photos over the next few days!!

I found this quite helpful re when you can test. The closer to the day of your missed period as poss seems to be the rule. Have also heard 14 days dpo works though

Currently 10dpo cd26. AF is due tomorrow but last month had a 28d cycle. Been POAS every morning (and sometimes evening's too) since 7dpo and just BFN. Not thinking this is my month.
