Af due tomorrow light spotting today so it will arrive early morning 😢 onto cycle 12 for me, so here's my stats.

Af brought on my provera cycle 10 after 142 days

Ttc number 2
recently diagnosed with PcOS
🤞 for actual clear ovulation this month

af due 4th January going by old cycles.

@emcrave I've just done a FRER and I'm 10 DPO too and obvs was negative. Why do we do this to ourselves!!! I'm not testing now until Tuesday!!

@HJWT what symptoms are you having? I get ovulation pains for a couple of days before ovulation, but nothing on the day (which I think was yesterday) or afterwards. So maybe yours is coming soon?

Right ladies I’m properly confused! Was convinced AF on way today! Had mild cramping last night, sore back and CM that was light brown. CM turned pink this morning so In my head I’m like yup AF on way. However now nothing 🤷‍♀️ Have never had this before or maybe I just have never paid that much attention to it. It can’t be implantation bleed at 13 poss 14 dpos. Now on cycle day 31 which has completely messed up ivf dates for Feb 😪 so frustrated everything has to be delayed by a month now. Just rung clinic and they were well far from helpful! Don’t want to go ahead with saline infusion and scratch on 23 jan if I can’t have treatment in Feb as it seems pointless. They say just wait and see 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️😪

@stormtrooperjulian had high cervix and EW/stretchy CM high sex drive etc today iv just got a headache 😂

Just took another OPK and there isn't even a second line on it so I give up 😂

Sorry you didn’t get your BFP either @thosethreewords! Im glad were on the same cycle though and going through it together! Who knew POAS would be so emotional but I’m just now eager to get AF out of the way and try again next month! Although I’m only 10DPO I just know AF is coming!

@HJWT this is what my OPK’s looked like:
14DPO - nothing
15DPO - very faint line
16DPO - positive
17DPO - positive
18DPO - very faint line

So for me it happened really quickly! Just keep doing that your doing! I was also testing twice a day!

AF due - yesterday, currently 1 day late according to Flo app.

Totally psychosomatic i'm sure, but today I feel nauseous, sore boobs, twingy abdomen, and like i'm getting a cold. No doubt AF on the horizon as if I had conceived I would only be three weeks so very unlikely to have symptoms i'm guessing.

@HJWT sounds like you might get your surge tonight, try opk late evening. I got my first positive cd18 last Wednesday night. Then a strong positive at cd19 which was really late compared to the previous month.

Sorry should have said that DH and I have been just seeing what happens the last couple of months but are counting January as our first official month of TTC.

10dpo and a temp drop today also bfn so definitely think af will arrive sunday as only have a 12 day lp

@TtcIAm I'm due af sunday too. I'm wishing away the days so I can start fresh next week (have a 4 day period).

Temp still good but af due tomorrow so I’m just waiting for her to catch up with me!

I'm only CD24 today and 11DPO - is having short cycles a problem?

@thosethreewords I think as long as your lp is at least 10 days then it’s supposed to be fine.

I did wonder about why short cycles could be an issue. Mine was 26 days last month and typically 26-28 days. I managed to have 2 children so far so it can't be too bad!

What is the issue though? Is it because the egg doesn't get a chance to implant before the wall is breaking down?

Might it also be because of the hormone balances? I’ve no idea.

After I took my implant out I had 6 months of clockwork 25 day cycles. Since I started taking pre-conception vitamins my cycle is now 27-28 days, and I find it really odd that a multivitamin has this effect, I think it’s lengthened my luteal period.

thosethreewords what vitamins are you taking? Might it be implantation bleeding if your cycle’s normally longer?

Cycle number 1 million (or it feels like it. Took 3 years to conceive first. Has been 6 years no contraception but not really 'trying'. 2019 is back to OPK's and temping for a last ditch attempt!

@thosethreewords Sorry to hear you're spotting and hoping it's not the dreaded AF. Like others have said I don't think short cycles are a problem as long as your luteal phase is at least 9/10 days. As a positive, it means you get more tries each year and don't have too long to wait each cycle :)

Thanks guys. Felt a bit crap earlier but picked myself up a bit. Went and had my nails done and pampered myself a bit. Also coincided with a particularly difficult day at work and my mum called to say someone I know from "home" has died suddenly. Happy January!! 😂😂
I'm trying to see the positives in this. 1) the TWW is over 2) more trying 3) I definitely won't have morning sickness for my professional exam in 4 weeks 4) we are actually trying 5 months earlier than my original planned start time so I'm still in the "bonus" months 🤪 anything that gets me through!!
