How long for period to return?

Hi

I finished taking the pill at the beginning of November, had a withdrawal bleed and now no sign of my period yet, I had been on the pill 6 months, prior to that I had the implant for 5 years.

I am probably being irrationally impatient, but how long did it take for others to return?

Thanks

It took me 60 days to get my first proper period.

Hiya! My first period was 6 weeks after stopping the mini pill. Like you I'd been on the pill for 6 months and the implant before that X

I was on the pill and it took around 70 days for my frist period to return. Hmm
@LylaBee how were your cycles after your first period? I've had one since stopping and hoping I dont have to wait another 70days until my next one!

LylaBee · 03/12/2018 22:53

@Pastaallday I've only had one too and hoping the same!

My cycles since coming off the pill in April:
101
51
78

Going to see GP next week about them. Really annoying me now how irregular they are. Hope yours become more regular soon OP. I had been on it for 15 years though. I think my body has forgot what to do!!

Thanks for replies.

I just need to be more patient it seems. I had cramping around the 24th,25th, 26th so thought that was the sign of its return, unfortunately not.

I have been on contraception so long I have no idea what my natural cycle will be when it finally returns.
