Have recently started vitex to try and regulate hormones after having very irregular periods or no periods ... just spotting . Was on the pill for 8 years and they have not returned to normal sinse . Iam 24 years old and been trying for 2 years . Have recently started vitex and haven’t had a periods yet , however I am having terrible cystic acne ... mainly on cheeks and badly on neck . Is very painful and looks awful . Should I stop the vitex or is this it working and my hormones sorting themselves out . I have always suffered with some acne but never big deep painful acne like this .
