I think I actually felt ovulation last night!

Ttc #1, cycle 4 day 14/15. Late afternoon/early evening yesterday (Saturday) I seemed to get this sudden onset of "heavy" aching (if that makes sense) in my lefthand side. Haven't had any EWCM on the run up to this though but did have some accompanying "wet" CM, did a OPK around 5pm which had a strong test line but I dismissed as negative/not quite there. Come midnight I thought oh I'll just do another before I climb in bed, pain had subsided, absolute definite negative! So now I think the earlier test was positive 🤔 I don't really know what I want to gain from this post, I suppose... Does anyone else feel ovulation and if so what does it feel like for you?

You are not alone: mittelschmerz. :)

I’m pretty sure I felt mine this morning. It felt like a mild stitch - like you might get if you go running or whatever. Which I definitely had not been doing Grin
A dragging stitch type pain is my best description. I’m CD17, but I always ovulate later than most, so it’s about right. I’ve had lots of EWCM to go with it though, it’s there every time I wipe.
I had LOTS of EWCM on days 12 and 13, hardly any of days 14, 15 and 16, and today after I felt what I think was ovulation I’m back to quite a lot. I hope that helps! I think it’s really cool that we can feel it.

I feel mine every month, it changes side or sometimes if I feel twinges on both sides I wonder if I have released two eggs.
It just feels like a very sharp pain to the side, not particularly painful but I’m always aware of it, mine comes and goes for about a day each month. Very occasionally I get a little bit of spotting too.

I've had no EWCM this month so tbh even if I did release eggs I reckon I'm out 🤔

I felt mine every single month.

FucksBizz · 03/12/2018 08:32

@lankybiscuits that’s interesting; total novice question, but why is EWCM so important? I think you can get pregnant without it still

lankyliscuits · 03/12/2018 16:18

@FucksBizz it's your most fertile cm and more easily allows the sperm to "get through" apparently, I've read a few people get pregnant without the presence of EWCM but I just feel like I'm out this month because I haven't had anything and it's now seems to be white/creamy consistency 🤷🏽

I always feel mine. Almost feels like period pains! I always get an achy back and pain in my uterus area. It's almost always accompanied by ewcm too so pretty easy to tell when I'm oving!
