Hopefully this won't sound like a very stupid question. Do I count it from Wednesday when I first had some very light sludgy brown spotting (that I excitedly thought might have been an implantation bleed as was nearly a week early Sad) or today when the real bleeding started?

My cycles are still being a bit weird after a miscarriage in July.

It's such a fucking slap in the face isn't it - no baby again this month and here's a load of pain and bleeding for a few days to go along with your disappointment SadAngry

It's supposed to be the first day of proper bleeding. Anything before that is sporting.

Thanks, usually the dribs and drabs come at the end for me!

I have days of sludge .

Good luck, OP. It will probably happen when you least expect it. Enjoy a glass of wine tonight
