Does anyone know anything about day 21 bloods

Does anyone know anything about day 21 bloods? I tested positive with opk on the 15th and went for day 21 bloods on the 22nd (7 days later) and the result was only 19. Did I get the blood taken on the wrong day?

I'm going for my day 21 next week. My GP told me it needs to be done 7 days before your period is due. I think with a positive opk you will have likely ovulated the day after (not the day of positive opk) so only likely to be 6 days after ov. How long is your cycle usually? Mine is on average 25 days so I'm getting mine done on cd19.

It is possible you went a bit early. I'm not 100% on the figure tho - did they say that 19 doesn't confirm ovulation?

Yes he said it needed to be over 30 to confirm ovulation. I was having a very long cycle so I wasn't sure when period was due.

I tried googling to get an idea of what it should have been 6 days after ovulation but can't find anything. Would 1 day have made it go over 30

It's a minefield. Do you know your luteal phase (time between ov and starting your period?) mine is 12 days. Was this a random long cycle or are you usually irrelegular?

Not sure if am extra day would have pushed you over 30. Has he suggested to do it again next month?

Well I actuality got BFP this week but because of medical issues I've to go for early 6 week scan and I don't wan't to book too early in case of no heart beat. I thought period was due yesterday or today but maybe it's not really due until tomorrow or Saturday because I didn't ovulate on the 15th.

Been having irregular cycles after MC but previously I had 14 day luteal phase.

Thanks this will be my 4th pregnancy in less than 12 months so I'm not really going to believe it until I see if I get past first trimester

Hey sorry if this is too late but I had a result of 17 and they said it confirmed ovulation. That was a year ago now. I had another day 21 test and result was 52.3! So i dont even know what is good and what is bad when it comes to day 21 tests!
