Hi all so af is due today and is a no show and I'm regular as clockwork. I took a pregnancy test on Friday and got a vvvf bfp same Saturday and Sunday all still vf. Took one this morning at 6am and still vvf then one at 9.30am and was still faint but a lot darker... could it be a chemical or am I just testing too often

Every one produces differing levels of HCG so will have varying strengths in lines. If AF is due then a test "should" be clear although there are many ladies who don't get a strong line until we'll after a missed period. What tests are they? Do you know when you ovulated? Sounds like it's positive to me a line is a line, if you O'd later that could easily explain, upload some pics if you can, fingers crossed for you xxx

I only ask for pics as I've seen many posts of pics with faint lines when actually they are stonking great fat ones

Hi thanks for replying. I used the £1 test strips and I got a positive opk on the 11th nov. My more recent test does seem to be darker so maybe I'm worrying for no reason. I'm not sure how to upload photos

Darker is good, long as you have no heavy bleeding, I'd say try to step away from the tests, but that would make me a massive hypocrite as I tested all the time! 😂 But yes if they are darker you are preggers xx

Yeah I'm gonna lay off the testing it driving me crazy my period is a no show and tests are positive so unless any bleeding I'm gonna relax lol
