I'm currently 4 days late which is unheard of for me. I generally have a 25 day cycle very very regular (my late is coming on in the evening instead of the morning!).

I've had about 4 negative tests, 1 very very faint positive & 1 that was a faint positive but only if I looked at it at an angle/in the right way . My last cycle was 1-6 AF, day 15 DTD, spotting day 18 and then was due on day 25 which was Thursday. We didn't fully use protection on day 15 and the spotting was barely anything. We aren't actively trying but would both be very pleased if I am pregnant.

Any advice or stories of having lots of negative tests and being pregnant or is it unlikely that I am and I'm just unusually late this month? I'm not having any noticeable symptoms of either AF or pregnancy, I'm maybe a bit more tired & headachy than normal but that's it!

Have you been testing with the early response tests and fmu? Sometimes it can take a while to show up positive. Sorry I'm not much help x

RocketPockets · 25/11/2018 21:22

I did fmu twice with one blue dye test (today) and one first response test (yesterday). Neither were positive, both clear negatives although I'm not sure how the blue dye one works & wont be buying one again! I have two cassette ones and two cheapies which both detect 25mlu hcg and one more blue dye one. I'm only gonna test each morning now until I come on. The uncertainty is just so frustrating!

Hi op I’ve just had this exact situation. My periods are like clockwork and this month I was late. I tested with frer and got negatives. Then when I was 5 days late I used a clear blue digital and got another bfn so I thought I couldn’t be.

Anyway my period still didn’t come! So when I was 7 days late I went and bought a test from the chemist, and finally got my bfp!!! I was 5 weeks 4 days but it just took a while for my hcg levels to rise Confused

It is so so frustrating, wishing you the best of luck!

Hi chinks123, thank you so much for replying! It's good to hear a story like yours as my previous pregnancy I got my bfp the day I missed my period so this is feeling very strange to me. For the fourth night in a row I'm also feeling really nauseous, but I don't know if that's because I'm now anxious!
Keeping my fingers crossed I eventually get a bfp because at the end of the day we were going to start trying in a few months anyway!

No problem, I was googling like mad to find someone in a similar situation. I just wanted to believe I could be pregnant so badly. Also I was and still am very nauseous, but you’re right it can be from getting anxious-or in my case I’d been trying for a year and thought I was imaging symptoms. Your eyes start to go funny after so many tests though don’t they, haha I was shining my torch on it at one point.

RocketPockets · 25/11/2018 22:21

Yes I keep shining my torch on tests because I can't be sure if I'm seeing something or not!
Just hate being in limbo, keep thinking I'm having cramps as well but just turns into nothing. Hopefully in a few days I'll get AF or a BFP! I'll be happy either way just to finally know whether I'm pregnant or not.

Yes cramps can be for either really so it’s very confusing, fingers crossed you get good news soon!
